Astro Weather May 2026: Unusual Busy Taurus Season

As I am writing this article about the astrological weather on May, it's right on the timing of Uranus applying to change is sign to Gemini for good after 84 years, and this make me excited and also a little bit worry, as I am not sure about the level of disruption this will bring to the world, but i do believe the liberation will be delivered in the end.
This May, we will have three moons in a row and many personal planets moving into Taurus. As I was looking at the May transit calendar, it's a lot! It's even busier than the Aries season. if in aries season, you feel the fire and its intensity, Taurus season feels fast-moving, changing energy that challenges the body. Even though Pluto is going retrograde on May 6 for 6 months, this will turn what has been exposed as a power struggle in global stance more into an internal integration. Pluto in Aquarius is the power of the people, but to really dismantle the dysfunctional system we are in, the internal power within us has to be reclaimed. Taurus season usually is more grounding and nurturing, but this one feels more of a force recovery for what has happened in Aries season.
The change is inevitable, and things are happening faster than you thought, so stay centred and be flexible.
May 1/2 Scorpio Full Moon - Venus Sextile Saturn – Mercury conjunct Chiron
Full moon puts an end to a spotlight on a truth that needs to be revealed. With it falls in Scorpio, you can expect some darker truth to be revealed in front of us. Because there are also two transits happening simultaneously, which are Venus in sextile to Saturn and Mercury conjunct with Chiron,
This gives me an image of a collective trauma being openly shared through information and conversation, to provoke healing, acceptance and confrontation of the deep pain we buried. And Venus is helping to look for an authoritarian Saturn for help regarding justice and accountability.
Collectively, I will expect more dark truths exposed to the media, such as more Epstein Files investigations or the R*pe website that was exposed by CNN, these are sexuality related topic that tie with Scorpio. With the Venus sextile to Saturn i do find this will grow more hope in what will be exposed.
Personally, It depends on where your Scorpio is located; this might stir some painful emotions that are associated with those areas of your life, which can bring you opportunities for healing and purification. Clear the dead water, talk about it and ask for help and support if needed.
May 6 Pluto Retrograde, Jupiter in Cancer square Mars in Arie, Saturn (Aries) square Moon (Capricorn), Venus (Gemini)opposing Lilith (Sagittarius)
Feels like a cease-fire on the negotiation table between feminine and masculine energy
Jupiter in Cancer feels like a wise woman who in touch with their emotions
While Mars in Aries feels like a jumpy, grumpy little boy
Saturn in Aries is like an old, rigid man with a short temper talking with a young woman with her inner authority.
Venus is the good girl within us in Gemini just wants to go on about her life, while Lilith, the “dark feminine, the scared rebel in us, says no, there are bigger problems we are facing, you cannot ignore.
May 16/17 New Moon in Taurus - Healing Moon
If you remember that, the new moon in April in Aries is where the Sun and Moon Conjunct the Chiron, and this New Moon in Taurus is Mars Conjunct Chiron.
This is a continuous theme of wounded masculine, patriarchal problem shows up from our consciousness (sun) to our action (Mars), It's like April is a time for us to be aware of it, and in May we are going to do sth about it.
And interesting enough is the moon and sun both moved to the feminine side of the chart. Taurus is very much representing Mother Earth, the divine feminine, and alongside Mars(Masculine), conjunct with Chiron (The wounded healer ). This is shifting the focus to the feminine while the masculine feels the wound much more deeply than ever before.

May 18 Mercury Conjunct Uranus and Mars Enter Taurus
Mercury governs information, conversation, travel and technology. When it joins Uranus, the shocker and the awakener, expect some unexpected information explosion. We also have Mars enter Taurus, which will give us some sort of drive or passion to build sth and get things done in the Taurus of your chart. But because Taurus is a very grounded, patient, and slow sign, this could indicate some frustration from Mars, as you won't see the result immediately. Mars entering Taurus is really good to indulge yourself with some earthy activity that could help you ground and relax your body.
May 22 Sun conjunct Uranus in Gemini, in sextile to Neptune
Uranus is the higher mind; it shows up like a lightning bolt, and it happens so fast, sometimes too fast for the human brain to comprehend. Uranus is much more comfortable in the sign of Gemini, with the Sun (Our consciousness conjunct Uranus), I feel like it's the mass awakening that has been prepared for us since 2020, and this is when mass consciousness is ready to wake up. This is also being assisted with Neptune, which could lead some of us who are not willing to wake up to the reality we live in, to blindly believe the lies that have been told and get stuck in the illusion and deception; And another group of people will get a more spiritual download and assistance to see beyond the veils. Gemini is the twins, and it's a very polarising air sign, with Neptune on top of the flavour, which can feel more confused than ever. But I feel the bridge between the twins is the higher understanding that Uranus is trying to wake us up to, and also the deep compassion that Neptune wants to bridge. It's a tricky energy to deal with, but clear your mind and drop to your heart, and develop discernment is the key to handle this energy.
May 31 Full Moon in Sagittarius
This full moon mainly involved a Retrograde Pluto, which is in sextile to the moon and trines the sun. In this case, i am feeling a internal and external power struggle will be brought into a larger scale from Gemini - Mundane stuff to Sagittarius - Deeper meaning of life. Pluto in Aqurius is the power to people, and like i mentioned before, we have a 5-month period to take this external power struggle reflection to inwards. Where have we outsourced our power and sovereignty? How could we personally and collectively reclaim that power? Then the internal process is very much needed before we heads to where Sagittarius pointed the brighter future we are heading.
